But it’s dying slowly Known for their staunch marketing position against the proliferation of new wheels sizes (check the video at the end of this story) , Cotic have finally thrown in the towel on their long serving and founding product, the 26 inch Cotic Soul.

According to the Cotic website the 26 inch version of the Soul will soon be no more as they have taken the decision to discontinue this diminutive, iconic Northern hardtail in favour of producing more 27.5 versions. It’s not all doom for the Cotic 26 range as they have also confirmed that the 26 inch BFe26 will continue, despite a temporary shortage of medium frame sizes at the moment.

White Cot Bed Bedding Sets …unfortunately for our founding product we have decided that the current batch in stock is the end of the road.
Leica Compact Digital Cameras BestWhilst BFe26 sales are still strong, at the lighter weight, higher end of the market the 27.5 and 29 inch wheels have pretty much taken over.

At the current level of sales compared to the 27.5 Soul and 29 Solaris we can’t justify another batch of Soul26. We need to be able to move at least a batch per year, and over the last 12 months it has dipped below this point, whereas Soul275 sales have rocketed right from the moment we introduced it. We’re sorry to be saying this, and it’s weirdly emotional for us given that – as I said – it’s our founding product. However, the Soul lives on in the 275 version, and times change. We’ve always said we are all about building Modern Steel Hardtails. If that doesn’t include 26″ wheels anymore, then so be it. So, this is your last chance to grab a 26 inch Cotic Soul. As the old saying goes, when they are gone, they are gone. Here’s Cy talking to a less beardy Mark at the Cycleshow way back in 2009 about the Soul, among other things. If that wasn’t already distasteful, it seemed even more so now that her former cast mate David Gest has died. Gest was found dead in a Four Seasons hotel in London early Tuesday, at which point Pollard’s t-shirt was still available for sale on her site. Pollard’s rep insists the shirt was an unfortunately timed coincidence and they’ve since been removed. The shirts were originally intended as a joke made in reference to Pollard’s freak-out in the recent season of Celebrity Big Brother U.K. The scene below shows the moment when Angie, Bowie’s ex-wife, tells Pollard that Bowie has died (“David is dead,” Angie whispers); Pollard mistakenly thinks she means their housemate David Gest and starts hollering. Pollard was apparently unaware of Gest’s death and retweeted the correction from her PR team. Fasion faux pas: American reality TV star Tiffany Pollard's management have pulled a T-shirt with the slogan 'David is Dead' from her website, following the death of her Celebrity Big Brother housemate David Gest Talking to Pollard in the kitchen, Angie Bowie said: 'Tiff, you've got to do me a favour. You can't say a word. David's dead.'Pollard assumed the David in question was Gest, and started screaming before running outside to tell her fellow housemates the news. After checking on Gest, who was asleep, Pollard ranted: 'She (Angie) told me that David died. Why the f*** would she do that? She just told me that you were dead. That is so f****** - ! Why the f*** would she do that to me?'"She later discovered that Gest was asleep in a different room. After her reps revealed the product - selling for £24.99 on her own website - had been taken off the market, Pollard took to Twitter to pay her own tribute to the late music producer.

She wrote: 'I'm so sad to hear about the passing of.My thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family.' Shock news: Pollard's management team took the line off the market after it emerged music producer Gest had died at the Four Seasons Hotel in East London on Tuesday Huge mistake: The US personality launched the T-shirts line to poke fun at her embarrassing moment on the Channel Five show in January, when she broke down in hysterical tears after believing Gest had died instead of rock icon David Bowie Confused: The mistake came after fellow contestant, Bowie's ex-wife Angie, whispered 'David is dead' to her after discovering the news of the singer's passing from TV producers Gest was forced to exit the Big Brother house early after he became unwell. In the diary room, Liza Minnelli's former husband said: 'I've been so sick, and I'm really sad as I wish I could stay. It's something I will never forget.'I want to thank all the people that have been supporting me, I want to tell all the cast mates that I love them and I love this country for their support and being so good to me.

Thank you Big Brother.'
