The smell was awful but he cleaned the inside, vaccumed it out and wiped down the leather seats and all the doors and dash board. It still smelled awful and I refuse to sit in it, so I went and looked for something that may help get rid of the smell. I bought febreeze wipes and air fresheners for the A/C cents and they didn't help, so I finally got this 'car bomb' and it worked amazing! Turn on your vehicle and run the A/C on high, with all the windows up and click the canister to the lock position and leave for 15-20mins! It smelt amazing and no smoke smell, I thought it was too good to believe and thought the smell would be back within a few days or a week at most but it still smelled great after a few weeks. The fragrance is pretty strong for the first few days but it does wear off some after a few days, leaving you with a light new car smell. After a few months the smell wears off but the smoke smell never came back, so we do the 'car bombs' about once a year! So thankful we found these!!!

I followed instructions for use on box, expecting to have a 'new car' scent in my 2013 Tahoe LTZ when I finished. Please note I purchased this product because I have been using and trusting Meguiar's products all my life. When the time was up on the instructions, I opened the doors to air the vehicle, and immediately became nauseated from the horrendous 'musk' old men''s cologne smell left in my vehicle. I aired as instructed, then when I started the vehicle and turned on the air conditioning, the smell was even worse and more sickening! I could not even use the ac, and ended up taking to a professional detailer, yesterday for odor remediation ($45.00). The detailer was even shocked at how horrible and strong it was. After working on the vehicle all day, they finally were able to remove the majority of the musk smell so I can at least use my vehicle.

We can say this product has been widely successful and received dozens of raves since it's introduction almost two years ago. We do offer two other scents (Citrus Grove, Summer Breeze) that you may like better. This stuff is absolutely nasty. I used this is my 02 Dodge stratus that became musty smelly from not driving it much any more and it is almost undrivable now. The smell is nauseating and it irritates my sinuses and my allergies so bad that I have to avoid driving it. If you have sensitive sinuses DO NOT BUY! I used it exactly as the directions stated and have even aired the car out numerous times without any relief from it.
