However the holes on the guardrail did not match up and pretty much when you try to do it, it strips it, wasn't to happy about that, but we made do. Also the wood has a lot of scratches a over that won't come out Yes (1) No (0)  Report Yes (1) No (0) I am NOT a WalMart employee, none of which ever had to assemble this bed. 1) There are quite a lot of boxes with no master sheet to tell you what is in which. 2) The directions are poor- only illustrations, and minimal text. 3) The espresso color is not well painted- there are spots where you can tell the paint was not sprayed enough on the wood. 4) Many holes were not drilled correctly, and required fixing. 5) The finish is glossy, which is not apparent in the photographs. 6) The ladder and opening are very narrow. Despite this, it seems sturdy, and our 6 year old son loves it.

Both have expressed how they would sleep in their own room IF they're together. After sharing our (husband and I) bed for as long as I can remember, this was a proposition I have to take. The beds are sturdy and aesthetically pleasing. I can select between a Twin or Full size. The railing of the top bedding is of good height that I don't fear that my daughter will fall off. The height between the bottom and top is plenty, so whoever takes the bottom part will not bump her head. Also, the length will allow my kids to use the beds for a while. Great bunk bed to have for my kids! The espresso finish gives this bed a nice modern and polished look while my kids (1 girl age 7 and 1 boy age 4) can add their own touches with bedding. I like how the look of this bed is "less is more." It would be very easy to add accessories and accent pieces like a nightstand or desk not only from this collection but also from outside since the color is so easy to match. Quality is built sturdy and I will not have to worry about any mishaps from the top bunk with my rambunctious kiddos. I generally have seen bunk beds those are like funky and dancing legs but this item is so solid that it stays on its legs without any issues. I like the support on the upper bed that makes sure small kid doesn't fall down while sleeping. It perfectly fits in any small room of size 8X8.
