I purchased these shoes and walked miles and miles and miles in them without a problem. No break in time, fits perfect. Time will tell on the arch support, that seems to be the first to give with all athletic shoes. I am hoping for the price that they will stand a reasonable test of time. This is my first new running shoes in 14 years so it's a big step for me, I literally ran my old ones till the soles fell off. Original Bowerman series, the best when they were good.These are really men's shoes...I ordered thinking they were women's and I wear a 7-1/2 in adidas. The label on box says US 7-1/2 French 40-1/2 and UK 7 which is MEN sizing. A women's US 7-1/2 is equivalent to a French 38 and a UK 5. Had to give it an overall low cause was disappointed zappos didn't know these were not women's! Shame because it would have been a great running shoe! Now, after a couple of years wearing the various editions of the Glide Boost, I can say that it is really great. Perfect, really, for a trainer.

The fit is superb (I wear men's 13; in Asics I wear 12 1/2). The longevity of the uppers hasn't been that great, but I'm sure that they easily put in the miles to where a running shoe should be replaced anyway. They are not the fastest shoe, but I don't mind, as it makes for a better workout. When I want the little ego boost I get from fast times, I train in my Adizero Boston, which, btw, is another superb shoe, with only slightly less cushioning in the forefoot; can't tell the difference in the heel. For treadmill I use the Asics Hyperspeed, which is a superb racing shoe if one of the sizes fits you right--the uppers are not stretchy. On race day, I prefer the Addidas Adios, which is a real Ferrari. Just putting them on makes me feel like running. Instead of hype and a bunch of gimmicks, I find that Addidas really understands their craft and makes use of the best technology. I like the shoe but it kills my feet -- I will have to start buying at Nordstroms where they will return your shoe even after you wear it - b/c some shoes you don't know until you have walked or ran in them to tell if they are really going to work. I usually wear 13's, but I had to return them and get size 12. By far the best running shoe for me personally. I usually run on the road or on a track. I run/jog 2-3 miles at a time. nearly perfect support for my feet. These are very comfortable but definitely not for any sort of HIT class or bootcamp class. They are basically like socks with a sole, they have no stability in toe area so your foot is all over the place in them. Great for running errands tho! But if you need to do froggers or burpees or suicides you can forget it! Your foot will slide over the side on the sole.

I bought them for walking around town/casual wear. This shoe definitely has a different style to it than most running shoes. For me, these would not work for running because the upper material is too flexible and not supportive enough and my feet would shift too much in the shoe. I think they will work well as a walking shoe because they have been comfortable, so far. The toe is very curled up straight out of the box, but the shoe does flatten out when you put it on.

I am normally a 6.5, but I ordered both a 6.5 and a 7. Both sizes fit because the material of the shoe is very soft and gives a good bit, but the 6.5 really dug into my Achilles heel. The 7 also rests high in the back against the Achilles heel, but it does not dig in. The 7 has a better fit on my foot, over all, so that is the size that I am keeping. On a treadmill these are super springy. On pavement, they're not quite as cushy as I'd like, but not bad. The design is not like a typical running shoe. The laces are unnecessary.
