They also have a list of movies they loan to you for free with popcorn on the house! We loved the little private patio and that we could walk to the village.Location, staff was very friendly. I just lost my mom and Big Bear was the last vacation she had with us so I wanted to be here. 눇The spa in the room is huge pretty sweet! 눉There needs to be some serious preventive maintenance going on during your off season. There were spider webs on the wreaths above the bed and in corners of the room. There was a dead spider smashed on the wall above the shower. The water pressure in the shower was a joke!!! Bottom of tub had a live bug and was also stained along with dirt that washed away with water. Drawers in closet were stuck and hard to open. A large glass had a crack in it and tape on the inside. I have this to the office and told them I found this in the cabinet. Salt and pepper shakers were very low and need to be refilled.

Makes me think how old the ingredients are if they are that low. Jacuzzi tub also had dirt along with little black hairs in it. I had to clean it out and scrub it with the dawn dish soap before I felt comfortable using it. The fact that I paid almost $450 for my stay of 2 night is unacceptable. For this rate the room should have have standards like a large Hotel chain. I in fact work for a large hotel chain and would never let my guest stay in accommodations of what I did. It had a rustic cabin feel, they also provided alot of extra stuff one might need. If you do visit you might want to bring your own bedding. And we did stay for 2 nights and they brought fresh towels and dumped trash. but did not change the bedding or even make the bed which we thought was kind of odd. The pet hair was kind of weird considering they were no pets allowed i think!! The spa and wood burning fireplace make for a fantastic romantic getaway, the kitchenette is awesome for your own drinks and snacks, the porch was great for enjoying the beautiful weather and the owner of the property is really nice. The only thing I wished would have been disclosed is how close it is to the main road into Big Bear Lake, the noise of the cars and motorcycle's were a distraction.
