Dresses can have long sleeves, 3/4-length sleeves, short sleeves and cap sleeves. You'll also find sleeveless dresses, including double strap dresses, off-the-shoulder dresses, one-shoulder dresses and strapless dresses.You'll find dresses with a wide range of skirt lengths, or hemlines, ranging from mini-skirt dresses to floor-length women's maxi dresses. Hi-low dresses have hemlines that are longer in the back and shorter in the front.Waistlines vary in position and length and can accentuate your chest, waist or hips.

Patio Furniture Clearance Vancouver B.CThis year’s shopping guide features a couple new prom dress stores in the Fashion District, as well as tips on the best times to shop for prom, how to get the best deal for your dress, plus a few more tips for our first time shoppers.

As we mentioned in our last guide, most of the prom and special occasion stores are located on Santee Street between Olympic Boulevard and 14th Street. If you know early on that you will be shopping for a prom dress this year, we suggest getting a head start. The sooner you purchase the dress the more you will save. Most schools have prom around the same time, so as demand for prom dresses go up so will the prices. If you’re a last minute prom dress shopper, we suggest scheduling your trip for a weekday. The Fashion District gets really busy with prom dress shoppers on the weekend and stores will limit the number of customers allowed to shop if it gets too crowded. Not to mention some stores only have a handful of dressing rooms and sales attendants, which means you’ll end up spending valuable shopping time waiting in line to try on a dress.

Pretty Woman located at 1324 Santee St. How can I make sure I’m getting the best deal on my dress?  If you find the dress you want to buy, check out a couple other stores and compare prices before making your purchase. Don’t be afraid to try your hand at bargaining. Some stores will be more willing to work with your budget than others, but it never hurts to try. Insider Tip: Shop with your girlfriends! As is the case in most of the Fashion District, the more you buy the more you save. If you all buy a dress from the same store, you can use that as leverage when bargaining. Always assume your purchase is final sale.  As we mentioned before, some stores will be more accommodating than others, but in general there is a no return policy around here.
