Consumer Reviews Of Hot Tubs

Never do business with these people.Kim, the owner is a liar and poor business person. If you claim to have a problem she will point the finger at everyone else but herself. I am an electrician who has wired a 100 hot tubs and know exactly how to wire them regardless of the manufacturer. I know how to read schematic. Anyway, friends purchased a tub from these guys in Lincoln City and asked me to wire it and I did. The tech came out while I was there and said I wired it wrong because the GFI was tripping. I explained that I did not wire it wrong, showed him the wiring diagram and he said he didn't have time to argue with me and said call when we have it wired correctly. The spa was a Sundance spa, so being fair and wanting to be sure I didn't make a mistake, I called Sundance Spa and talked with them over the phone and even emailed them pictures of how I wired it. They said it was wired correctly. Called PHTS back and they basically told my friends to pound sand and how they had a lot of problems with how electricians wire their spas.

So after a lot of back and forth they said they would come get the spa, take it back to there shop and test it (who does that?) and if there wasn't a problem with the spa there would be a transport fee. The folks at Sundance even said that was a bad idea because they aren't designed to be moved all over, it can damage the seals, crack hoses etc. So they get the tub back to their shop and guess what, it had a bad part that was causing a short. Then Kim was as nice as pie and acted like none of the previous experience ever happened. What do you know, brought it back, hooked it up to the wiring I had installed and it worked for about 6 months, then had another problem with the filter and shutting off with a low flow light on. My friends bought a new tub and threw that one away, rather than try to deal with Kim on a warranty ($3500.00 out the window). None of this story is fabricated, it happened exactly like this and it took 3 weeks to resolve. So the people that are writing good reviews obviously didn't have a problem but if you do, be for warned, Kim is never wrong until you prove her wrong.

Not exactly the "customer is always right" kind of company. Before you buy from them, go to another hot tub place and mention these guys and they will tell you the same thing.

Bedroom Furniture Lease Purewater Pools in Nepean Ontario sold us a Sundance tub 10 years ago. Sales and service was awesome. We "upgraded" as the Sundance was pretty worn out and this tub is garbage. Poor customer service, even worse initial quality, waterfall bezel fell off, water leaks in multiple areas of the waterfall, pumps pulsate intermittently, condensation is getting inside the equipment bay, and we are getting nothing but excuses, theyu even damaged the...

I bought my tub in the fall of 2014 its a Resort 535L the repair tect has been out to my place 6 times in 18 months replacing every component on the tub. Not a very good experience with this brand. Bought through Culligan Edmonton and the service is very bad, they sell the hot tub but know very little when it comes to servicing. Purchased a 850a-so from Allstate home leisure had it delivered on 12-6-2015 after 2 months the waterfall stopped working and I'm told to turn the jet down what kind of *** is this also service came out because 3 other jets wasn't working fixed the 3 jet but had no clue what to do about the waterfall Wow, that last Artesian Nightmare review looks like it was written by an illiterate 5 year old chimp. How can anyone take that seriously? I am in year 8 of my Artesian spa ownership. I had an Arctic for 8 years and some tub from Costco that I can't remember the name of for a few weeks before I dragged it back and got a refund. The Artesian has been a good tub, even though the dealer disappeared shortly after my purchase.

have a 2011 artesian island spa and have fading and delaminating on the tops of the shell sent photos to american sale and artesian no help will not cover the issues talk to everyone sorry we dont cover that shell delamination on are warranty had a hot tub 20 years and this never happen i think it a shell defect i e mailed the ceo of american sale in il. and nothing they dont stand behind what they sell and dont care... I purchased a floor model captiva spa 1 year old from dealer. When you get the spa the dealer has you heat the water up and bring in a sample. They then do an analysis for proper chemical balancing. So with that information in mind how could the pillows be deteriorating to the point that they are disintegrating. You would think that the dealer would have been following the proper chemical balancing and procedures. Who is responsible is it... I purchased an Artesian Spas Dove Canyon Platinum Elite spa from Vienna Hot Tubs & Patio (703-734-0077) just over a year ago.

It looks like the heater pump has gone bad on the hot tub and I am trying to get warranty work done. I have contacted the dealer as well as the manufacturer concerning warranty work. The hot tub has been broken for about 3 months now. They are trying to void the warranty because the hot tub is being stored over at my... Avoid Artesian Spas at all costs. I purchased a 2004 top of the line Piper Glenn. Its The product is average to say the least. Aside from a main control panel malfunctioning twice, a pump going out and all the plastic control knobs discoloring but the warrenty is worthless and the company customer service department is deplorable and abussive to the consumer. I've been trying to get a warrenty issue repaired for over a year, the first... Cover Valet Hot Tub Cover After re checking all measurements twice I ordered the top quality cover with all-weather seal options. This was my second cover from them because the previous cover I purchased had worn after 10 years of service.

Everything came on time and the order was correct. I am not in a position to compare its quality with another cover because I have only purchased 2 covers in 10 years. I purchased the second one on the fact my first one lasted 10... I ordered my cover and cover valet online. Whatever you do, DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKE! It took me several tries to place my order due to questions about what exactly I needed. My hot tub is 84x84 and I had problems with how heavy my previous cover was so I ordered the higher priced valet cover lift because it has the hydraulic lifts to assist me. They shipped the valet lift immediately - two boxes arrived strapped together. In my naivety I thought... Hot Tub Works advertises that they custom manufacture covers to original manufacturer specs. They offer standard covers that don't fit properly and are made from inferior materials. The cover I purchased arrived with several small tears in the apron. They require that you reposition wind strap connections. Once you buy they don't want to know anything about their customers.

I am now stuck with a $500 spa cover that I can't use. The cover I chose was recommended for colder climates; “ULTRA, Made for Snowy Weather”; which I paid extra for. According to the description and pictures, the Ultra cover offered a “Continuous Heat Seal- Not only a popular option for colder climates, but anyone who would like to see their energy bill decrease monthly, this seal runs through the entire length of the fold and virtually... I ordered a $600.00 cover and received it from Hot Tub Works. On their site they ask you for the make and model and then pop up a window that gives you the dimensions of your cover. In this window there is no signs that there is more than one choice. You can scroll down to choose other years of the spa that you own and since I'm not a spa cover professional I did not know some spas change sizes depending on the year. After I received my cover... I ordered a hot tub cover from this company and it leaks rain water! When I called customer service they said leaking rain water is "normal" and it can't be avoided.

That's ridiculous considering that I'm trying to keep my spa water clean for my personal enjoyment. Prior covers I've had never leaked rain water. I determined that it's leaking from the stitched connection between the two sides of the cover. They refused to work with me or... I bought a spa cover, lifter, and cover cap, all at the same time in the same online order. The cover fit well. The lifter, although functional, does not fit very well. The cover cap does not fit at all. When I tried to get them to refund the cost of the cover cap ($80 our of an order that totaled over $750), they refused, saying that since the cover, the lifter and the cap are all made by different manufacturers, they "can't be responsible"... Beware, fellow hot tub cover buyers. I thought I checked the BBB rating on this company before I made my purchase... come to find out the Hot Tub Works that comes up google search is NOT them. I was fooled into thinking the Hot Tub Works in Chicago IL was the same Hot Tub Works in Costa Mesa CA!

It is not the same company! I ordered my spa cover in April and still have not received. I emailed and left voice mails with no reply. I was forced to... DON'T BUY A HOT TUB COVER FROM THESE CROOKS!! They offer a five-year “Peace of Mind” warranty but the top-of-the-line cover we bought from them (“The Works”) lasted just over two years (the stitches came loose, rips formed in the inner plastic lining, the foam got waterlogged and the cover became impossible to lift). They replaced it that first time but charged us $150 to ship a new one. When the replacement cover also fell apart in just over... This cover cost $400.00 and blew off by hot tub and was destroyed. The straps that were just single stitched tore off with the first wind. I've live at this house for 5 year and have had wind far worse. The quality of the construction and the insulation were horrible. It also took 3 months to receive the cover. The communication with the customer service department was slow and...
