Stayed at Kempinski High Tatras at the beginning June of 2016 The hotel is conveniently located right at the lake. ( Strbske pleso ) It does not get any better than this, if you are looking to stay in High Tatras. I had a party of 9 people stay for 2 nights. (6 adults 3 kids ) Stayed at the Grand Hotel for a Sunday night at the beginning of September. The hotel is very nice with stunning views. We had a lake view room which was very nice including a sofa area, large bathroom with bath and seperate shower. The hotel lobby areas are inviting and cosy. The hotel has been well looked after with staff... This is a beautiful hotel in a lovely area right on the lake Public areas luxurious, log fire in reception and bar and very well appointed bedrooms and bathrooms HOWEVER, On our first day the fantastic wellness centre was thronged with small children leaping into the pool, screaming We couldn't get into the whirlpool for kids jumping around with swimming... Please note that due to the Summer school holiday, families with children visit our hotel more frequently. Perfect location with friendly helpful staff and service. Beautiful rooms with tasteful decor and furniture. Lovely bathroom with underfloor heating. We had lake view rooms with nice views of the lake. Swimming and spa areas were very well appointed and well attended. Only criticism is that there should have been table tennis (only billiards currently) and/ or other amenities as... Top location, top service, top facilities, top food. Cannot complain about a thing! Stayed here couple of times, hotel has top location right on top of the High Tatras around 40 mins drive from Poprad airport. Hotel offers lovely views of the lake just behind it and great walks, as well as skiing in the winter.

Ultra modern facilities, 5*... Arrived to the hotel with my wife and two little girls (5years and 4months). Staff was very helpful and friendly, rooms and all premises were fabulous (of course there is a price for that :)). Surrounding of Strbske Pleso and high Tatras is great and many possibilities for trips. We really enjoyed our two nights at the Kempinski. On arrival a nice welcome with a complimentary champagne. Breakfast was also delicious. Room was beautiful and hotel located perfectly on the lake. Lots of great walks close by and staff were very helpful in directing us where to go I recently stayed here at the hotel for 7 days with my family. We thoroughly enjoyed the amazing view of the lake each day and the peace and quiet at night. The hotel has nice amenities. The pool and spa are a great way to spend some time. Beautiful hotel, very nice and relaxing wellness, nice and helpful staff, nice surrounding (but nothing much to do). We are coming back for short romantic week ends :) Little minus is the high price and the lack of possibility of... We treated ourselves to a night here and it was fabulous. We ate in the restaurant and the food and wines were great. All the staff very courteous and helpful. The spa facilities were beautiful and to a very high standard.
