From the pictures this looked really cute but I did not realize how it worked until we received it. On the right that little dumbbell looking thing is the wand.

That is easily lifted off by the baby. When they shake that rattle/wand the lights flash on the mirror and it sings one of the songs or it says one of the phrases. They are all in the princess voices. The little ball roller also triggers lights and songs/phrases. The height of the mirror is perfect so you can put their legs under it so the mirror and play area is close enough for them to easily reached. My 10 month old granddaughter really likes it. After an endless search, I found the Princess version and ordered it immediately. My daughter's face lit up when she saw me unpack the toy and put the legs on the main console. She was delighted with all the Pricesses speaking to her as they lit up one at a time around the mirror. While the mirror is a little "warped" it does not matter. My daughter seeing her reflection and the smile and laughter that results is all that matters. The toy requires three AA batteries, but does not seem to drain quickly. This is a wonderful toy that will be kept in my family for many years to come because of its uniqueness at bringing pure joy and entertainment and steadily holding our child's attention for more than five minutes.

Bought this for my 10 month old and she absolutely loves it! Its so adorable and was very easy to assemble!! She loves being able to look at herself in the mirror and play with all the toys on it as well. This toy is sturdy enough that she can pull herself up on her knees as well as stand up holding onto the top without the toy turning over on her. The sounds are not too loud to scare her and she loves the rattle wand on the side. The colors are very vibrant just like the picture and the stickers of the princess have not came off at all. It was very easy to put together since you only have to snap three pieces together. This toy occupies a great deal of time for my young daughter. It has a little warp to it, but that makes it fun for silly faces. There is a place designated to hold the magical wand so it does not become misplaced when putting the toys away. My baby loves waving the wand in front of the mirror to hear the different phrases from the princesses. It is not very stable when too much weight is put upon it. We all know toddlers like to try to climb on their toys at least once if not more. Cinderella is similar to a joy stick, which is entertaining to my baby. The roller ball is great for keeping the baby entertained for several minutes. This is one of few toys that will keep my child entertained for a long amount of minutes. Whenever she has play dates, her guests are fascinated with this product as well. I did give it 4 stars only because of the durability. Otherwise, it is a great product we enjoy. I ordered this toy for my 1 year old honorary niece who lives in Allegan, MI. and she just absolutely enjoys playing with her Fisher Price Magical Moments Mirror!

Only problem is that the bottom of the feet are smooth and therefore the whole thing slips/slides around WAY too easily. Would work out much better if it was grooved to make some tread. We are going to try putting felt furniture stickies on the bottom of the feet to keep it more stable. For now, we have to hold it in place for her.
