because of their size, nature or location, may require a hands-on repair. Spa or Hot Tub Leaks Bypass Filter before adding FIX-A-LEAK to water.With pump running, add FIX-A-LEAK slowly through skimmer or in front of any other suction intake.FIX-A-LEAK is very heavy and will sink to the lowest point rather quickly.  It must be stirred back into suspension every 4-6 hours, while maintaining the circulation.Continue to recirculate water, until the leak has stopped. It is all self contained, the assembly directions were very easy to follow. I was in the hot tub the next morning, we have it set up under a gazebo with lights at night. We called Intex and they shipped a whole new base unit free of charge. Except for that one incident we have been free of issues running the tub 24/7 and using it almost daily. Also it was very easy to set up and maintain... Recently we began to see lumps in the cover and it began to slowly deflate on one side. The last time I was in the tub I noticed the tub was also deflating.

After closer inspection we noticed the baffle along the main seam had now expanded out from the seam and had the same ripples on the skin as the cover. The tub has never been over inflated as there is a air gauge Intex provided to prevent this from happening. The tub brought us much enjoyment and pleasure and for the money it was not a bad investment. However, with that said I would have liked to get more then a year and a half out of it.... If you are looking for a short term tub then this is it. The price is right and you should get a good year out of it but keep your receipt as you will need it to prove to Intex when and where you bought the tub should should you need to submit a warranty claim. While installing it again the two connecting hoses, B and C, broke as they became hard and inflexible.

I then checked for other hoses and found a third, in the control base. They sell the B and C hose, but not the connector hose on the pump that also was suffering from the same problems as B and C. Instead they want to sell you a complete pump assembly or control base. These hoses do not stand up to exposure to spa chemicals and will fail. They have specially designed flanges so cannot be purchased at spa stores. If you are not a DIY person or a tinker this spa is ok for six months or so. We got this on sale for $449 at the end of the summer season. It was well worth the money! My spouse and I both have muscle/back/neck pain.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this works and just melts away the pain. I haven't been free of neck/shoulder pain in 10 years. After 30 mins of relaxing in this hot tub and the pain was gone. I have been using this everyday for at least 15 mins and I have been feeling great. The hot tub was very easy to set up as well. It took less than 30 mins to set up and be filled with water. It fills up a lot faster than you would think, so be mindful of that. Since this is an air up hot tub, I was concerned that it wouldn't be sturdy, but boy it sure is. I am really impressed with the construction of this thing too. It is a great product! I totally recommend this hot tub. It really is a good value for the price. Next 1 of the plastic intake tubes fell off when taking apart the system.
