How To Cut Your T Shirt Like A Rockstar

I’m not sure if you’ve seen the articles floating around the internet about the correlation between long hair and intuition, but I find the topic and the studies behind it quite intriguing. Plus, I’ve observed the influx of long haired men (with luxurious locks women would die for!), walking around the aisles of my local Wholefoods! 1) Conductors to higher consciousness 2) Assist with your intuition 3) Act as an extension of your energy body For a long time, many cultures and civilizations had both men and women wearing their hair long. This was evident with the long hair worn by Native Americans, Indians, the Chinese queue and on historical figures like Jesus and Mohammed. During the Vietnam war, the US army noticed a difference in the intuitive tracking capabilities of recruited specialized Native American trackers who had long hair versus ones whose hair had been shaved off to match the other military recruits. Once their hair was chopped off, their tracking skills diminished greatly.
Hair as a sixth sense also runs hand in hand with how mammals, like cats and dogs, have whiskers (aka. sensing devices) to help orient themselves and keep them from harm. Your hair is an awesome survival tool. I’ve had my hair only cut short twice in my life. Once as a child, where my mom cut my hair into a dreadful bowl cut, which I remember made me miserable. The other time was eight years ago when I volunteered to participate in free haircuts and styling at Vidal Sassoon Academy. I regrettably ended up with a horrifying “mullet” accompanied with purple, caramel and red highlights! For months after that cut, I felt like I lost a part of myself and I was definitely not happy. [Also, lesson learned, unless you really don’t care about your hair or don’t have an ounce of vanity in you, I wouldn’t recommend volunteering your locks to be hacked by experimental novice hairstylists. *Sigh*] Anyway, I love my long hair and I’ve vowed never to cut it short again. My grandmother had long hair down to her waist and she kept it tied in a bun even at old age.
I think I will do the same. Energy Receptors and Hair Crystals: You’ve Got Follicular Antennae! Have you ever had the hairs stand up on your arms, or have you felt the hair on your head (or back, for the men and hairy ones out there), whenever you “felt” something wasn’t right? The hairs on your body act as as an extension to your nervous system and emit energy. Medical Weight Loss Clinic Cleansing PhaseI’ve read that there is Kirlian photography out there where a person was photographed with long hair, and then photographed again shortly after getting a hair cut. They say after getting a hair cut, your energy reception is slightly hampered and you numb out for a while.  Maybe that’s why some people I know feel unsure of themselves after every time they get a hair cut.  I would have loved to have photos of my energy field taken before and after my mullet cut! I just wonder what colors were being emitted from my aura! The human body is composed of minerals and water, and more specifically your hair is composed of keratin. Did you know that according to the Journal of Dermatology, studies have shown that there is crystalline structure within keratin? In addition, your hair’s pigment comes from melanin and acts as a conductor because of it’s sensitivity to light. It’s amazing when you dig deeper with science and discover the ways your body is functioning. Experiments With Crystals and Hair I love to meditate and sleep with crystals above my head! While doing this, I lift my hair up and let it pile in a hot mess above my pillow and over my crystals (since it hurts to lay atop long locks while lying down).
I’ve had amazing vivid dreams which I can easily remember upon waking and I feel more “connected” with the crystals’ energy.  In addition, my sleeping sessions were deep and restorative.  Some of the crystals I’ve placed above my pillow include: 9 Ways to Improve Your Hair “Reception”: 1) Analyze Your Hair Product Ingredients. Use organic natural oils like jojoba, almond or rose oil to keep your hair “conductors” moist and soft. Install a shower filter that removes impurities and fluoride if possible. Also avoid chemical ingredients like sodium laurel sulfates, parabens and other man-made yucky stuff as much as possible in your conditioners, shampoos and hair care products. 2) Think Twice About Trims. Treat split ends with almond oil instead of trimming. (Apparently they say that it takes about three years for new hair receptors to form at the tips!). Not sure how many ladies can deal with this one though. When I do have to get my hair cut, I usually get trims twice a year and at the New Moon when the energies surrounding us are less potent.
3) Ditch the EMF Dryer. Dry hair naturally, and if possible, try to air it out in the sun for about 10-15 mins for pranic and Vitamin D absorption. Avoid blow dryers as much as possible. They emit a high dose of dirty electricity and it’s bad to blow that all around your crown chakra. 4) Keep Healing Oils at Bay. Shampoo only when you absolutely need to so that the healthy oils from your scalp help nourish and protect your hair.Apparently, they say to wash your hair after an emotional upset or argument. Being in the shower is very grounding and can help wash away unwanted negative energies lingering on your “follicular crystal cluster”. 6) Use a wooden brush or comb, instead of metal, to stimulate the scalp and maintain your electromagnetic aura surrounding your crown chakra. They say that wood prevents static electricity which can drain the energy from your brain area. 7) Not sure how many of you will agree with this, but I’ve also read that it says to avoid hair dyes (some can be super toxic) and embrace your silver gray hairs since they have better energy absorption. C
ould that explain why stories of past ancient gods, wizards and magicians were always depicted with long gray hair? 8)  Keep your hair up during the day to absorb pranic energy. Let it all fall down low during the night to absorb lunar energy. 9) Rock a Crystal Crown. Since your hair is crystallized keratin, the best hair “antennae” style to wear that resembles a crystal “crown” is a: A top knot, Miley Bun, Bam Bam Bun, yogi bun, high ballerina bun… Here at Crystal Rock Star, we like to call it your Crystal Crown! A Secrets of Yoga article states that the best way to energize your aura and brain cells, and stimulate the pineal gland in the center of the brain, is by putting up the hair in a “Rishi knot”. (In India, a Rishi is a wise one who coils his or her hair on the crown of the head.) According to Yogi Bhajan, “The activation of your pineal results in a secretion that is central to the development of higher intellectual functioning, as well as higher spiritual perception.” (
Why not try this crown chakra idea to go along with a top knot bun! For those of you with long hair, use the sock bun technique as shown in the video below, but as a bonus, while creating the bun, roll some crown chakra crystals into an organic cotton sock to amplify your energy flow! * Some crystal ideas for this: clear quartz, amethyst, celestite and selenite tumblies. * Be sure to carry around a grounding crystal or wear some grounding ankle bracelets of black tourmaline, hematite, smoky quartz or pyrite if you want to attempt to try this. So after reading all this, do you think you’ll grow your hair long now if it’s currently short? Perhaps grow it out and compare the difference in your intuitive abilities. For those of you with longer hair, do you notice any difference with your energy vibrations and spiritual capacities to tune into your higher self? Leave me a comment! I’d love to hear about your experiments or experience with hair and intuition!
