How To Get Moving Objects On Tumblr

New projection mapping technology from the University of Tokyo can project in real-time onto moving objects:In our laboratory, the Lumipen system has been proposed to solve the time-geometric inconsistency caused by the delay when using dynamic objects. It consists of a projector and a high-speed optical axis controller with high-speed vision and mirrors, Lumipen can provide projected images that are fixed on dynamic objects such as bouncing balls. However, the robustness of the tracking is sensitive to the simultaneous projection on the object, as well as the environmental lighting.Hello, my name is Rebecca and I am a Brooklyn-based illustrator and comic artist / / / / Sarah KoenigNew Yorker Radio Hour I did this small portrait of Serial host Sarah Koenig for the New Yorker Radio Hour podcast. I was asked by JStor to create an image of a student’s desk…and to, basically, have fun with it. I filled the space with treasured objects from my studio, from my memories, and from my own research projects on JStor. I included some detail shots because this poster was HUGE and I was able to get really detailed. Detail 1: An excerpt from a quote that is very important to me.Detail 2: Some book spines, including a sneak peak of the spine of Compass South (our first story, Hope! :))Detail 3: A ticket stub that is very important to me.
Round Seat Cushion Covers(and I only wish I owned that skull)

In addition, JStor also came to my studio and filmed a little interview with me about the poster. If you are interested in seeing my adorably low-budget studio space and my pink-potato face, you can watch it here. • 7 January 2016 • 6,267 notes I was seduced by the force, I drew some Star Wars fan art yesterday. Finn likes keeping the people he cares about close. Maybe Finn is dreaming about this while he’s [spoilers]I miss drawing self-indulgent fan art, I am trying to get back into it, hopefully I’ll have more free time in 2016. feel free to drop me a request ;) • 25 December 2015 • 4,448 notes Journey into the Cave of BonesPBSThese are a few illustrations made for this “Science Bedtime Story” about the Rising Star Cave in South Africa. It’s an ongoing expedition through a perilous cave system, for the purpose of excavating ancient hominid skeleton remains. Some of the cave passages are so narrow, only a team of small-framed female scientists were able to make it all the way through to retrieve the specimens.

The undertaking to retrieve these fascinating bones is a true adventure! I enjoyed learning more about it. • 17 December 2015 • 439 notes Pepper Breath Zine DI-GI-MON, DIGITAL MONSTERS~!! I just felt very strongly about this prompt–collections–because I’m such a collector. I have many small groups of objects around my house that I have no reason to keep except that they remind me of places, conversations, people.

They are small self-portraits. I decided to illustrate this one, since I like painting small bits of paper. These are all the movie ticket stubs I’ve kept since 2007, along with some related mementos. If you’re in the area, check out the show! Also, You can buy a postcard or print of this piece at the LGAL shop. (I also recorded a time-lapse video while painting this, and I’ll be posting that soon…) • 5 December 2015 • 473 notes This is the special piece I made for the Ladies of Literature Vol. 2 Kickstarter. I created 4 fabulous .gifs about hairstyling. It was invigorating to create a series based around one concept, to experiment with the animations, and to work with such an enthusiastic and talented team. • 24 November 2015 • 3,172 notes
