Our toddler is going to start potty training soon and I thought a kid jiggling back and forth on the seat is going to make it even worse so it was time to take action. The kit wasn't too tough to install. It's a little hard to get the tool onto the bolt so that it turns, and the inside of the tool isn't deep enough to accommodate the length of the post so you can get a really tight fit. Also the rotational strength of the plastic is pretty flimsy so even though you would get more power by holding it at the end, the tool would break so you have to hold it closer to the base and then, again, you can't get a really tight fit on the bolt.

After installation my toilet seat moves much less than before but still moves some. We'll see if it lasts or if I'll be back to tightening it in a month. In addition to this kit I also installed bumpers under the seat near the front (also purchased on Amazon: Compac Safe-T-Bumpers Toilet Seat Stabilizers) that stop the seat from moving back and forth from the front so that should also help.
