Organic Cotton Name Labels - sew on name tags (clothing labels) for children's clothing Custom, organic, handmade - fabric labels for every need The story behind Ananemone starts like this: An anemone's body is hollow An anemone has no soul An anemone has no brains or veins An anemone's only a hole An anemone roams the ocean An anemone's cavity's home An anemone's company's clowns and crabs An anemone's enemy's none Except the gray sea slug And a fish, tompot blenny
Nobody eats an anemone She looks like a flower, stings like a bee (a poem written by my husband many years ago while we were in college) I like to sew. I picked it up quite some time ago and sewed mainly for my family, until they had too many things to justify making more. Thus, I started selling my handmade clothing on Etsy. One of the first things I discovered was that to sell legally in the United States, I'd need specific information printed on fabric labels for each garment. The requirements for children's clothing are even more stringent! I looked around online but couldn't find any labels that were 100% natural, easily customizable, and had low minimums - so, over the course of a few years, I taught myself how to make the labels I was looking for. They're like nothing else on the internet; soft, durable, natural, infinitely customizable, and produced without harsh chemicals. I love developing new techniques and designs as well as the physical process of hand-making each sheet of labels;
what I love more, though, is being a (very) small part of so many clothing lines and businesses. These days my husband Matthew and I run the shop together; we both have a physical hand in the making of every single set of labels. Dragon Garden FurnitureHe concentrates mainly on the business and production improvements aspects, while my favorite bits remain product development and connecting with other seamstresses and Etsians. 4th Id T-ShirtTogether we make a pretty good team :) Second Hand Furniture For Sale In MiamiMy mom (Susanne) has also joined us, helping with some of the preparatory work and filling in the gaps. I've been on Etsy for a while, so if you have any questions about labeling requirements in the US or how to run a shop here, I'd be happy to help you out.

You can warm them up with a hair dryer and peel them off with a sharp edge or fingernail, but they may leave residue behind on the clothing or take bits of the clothing with them. (It's a very strong adhesive!) Do the labels fade or fray? We've just switched to a new ink system; we use water-based nanopigments and they don't fade at all. The edges of sew on labels will fuzz slightly but will not unravel, as they are printed on the bias of a very finely woven cotton. If you want a completely clean look, you can dip the sides of the labels in fray check. Do iron on name tags come off in the wash?
