The pool's clean lines echo those of the house. A 1972 sculpture by Michael Arntz in the courtyard. The sun-filled open living space is united by a mostly white palette, and the furnishings were chosen as an homage to the era in which the house was built. In the living area, circular shapes, including a sofa by Modernica, Warren Platner stools, and a chandelier by Gaetano Scolari, play off the angular geometry. A curtain of shells separates the living area from the dining quarters. The patio offers a casual spot for alfresco meals. The music room is decorated with mid-twentieth-century furnishings and toned down with textured materials, such as a Tibetan goatskin rug from Minassian's Paris shop; the 1930s Cubist painting is by Georges Valmier. A capiz-shell curtain creates a shimmering backdrop in the dining area, which is mostly soft whites and cool grays, including custom-made chairs by Minassian, a circa-1950 cabinet by Edward Wormley, ceramics by local potters from the '50s, and a rice-paper light fixture by artist Stephen White.
