Amy Steverson was attending one of the biggest nights of a teen's school social life, but instead of enjoying her youth, she was reportedly made to feel it was wrong A teenager who went to her prom was reportedly body-shamed by her school when she was forced to wear a deputy principal's jacket to cover her up. Amy Steverson attended her senior prom with her friend Bronte Taylor in a floor-length layered gown with a moulded corset top decorated with intricate embroidery. But Bronte's mum took to Facebook to slam the school when Amy was given a jacket to wear and told: "Big girls gotta cover up". Tiffani Taylor said that the prom last Friday at Maryville, Tennessee, was a big night for Amy, who spent time looking for the perfect dress, getting her hair done and was meticulous in putting her make up on.
