Doogie was born in Griffin, Georgia, living his puppy years in a few homes there before being given-up (for some bizarre reason) for adoption. We're not sure what his life was like while living down south, but we do know that he was rescued by a Minnesota animal rescue agency and brought-up to live in yet another temporary home here in Minnesota, where we found him. He now makes his permanent home with us, Beth and Adam, the owners of Enliven Psychotherapy.Doogie loves cuddling, playing, and connecting with people. His compassion and alertness are enjoyed by many, as it leads to an attentiveness not found in most human psychotherapists. Doogie knows what it's like to be lonely, homeless, and have attachment disruptions, which makes him all the more passionate about attaching to others. Oh, and his fur is so clean and soft - a wonderful sensory experience! When not at Enliven, Doogie enjoys scampering in the yard, sleeping on the couch, cuddling with his family, and playing with the neighborhood cats and squirrels.
