In 2016, the Seattle Animal Shelter Fount (SASF) presents its sixth annual Raining Cats & Dogs gala fundraising auction — an evening of fantastic food, sparkling conversation, and awe-inspiring generosity, This year, we will return to the Bell Harbor International Conference Center on the beautiful Seattle waterfront. Proceeds from the event go toward grants that fund key initiatives to improve the quality of care at the Seattle Animal Shelter, and to help enhance the lives of animals throughout Seattle. Tracy Taylor joined KING 5 as traffic anchor in January 2010. 
Her traffic reports during the busy morning commute are part of KING 5’s weekday morning news beginning at 4:30 a.m. with Joyce Taylor, Greg Copeland, and meteorologist Rich Marriot.  Tracy brings extensive Northwest traffic reporting experience with her to KING 5. During her free time, Tracy enjoys snow skiing, softball, wakeboarding, golf and watching college basketball and Seahawk football.  Tracy rescued both of her mini dachsunds, Lucy and Yoohoo.  She’s an avid animal advocate and always supports animal welfare organizations. You and five friends will get a personal guided tour of the sanctuary, which is not open to the public. Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation reserves the right to jury all donations prior to acceptance for the auction. If you have a physical item, it’s always best to contact us first to see if we can accommodate your item donation. Raining Cats & Dogs Auction FAQs Where is Raining Cats & Dogs held? It will be held at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center, 2211 Alaskan Way (Pier 66), Seattle, WA. Where can I park? We recommend parking in the Art Institute of Seattle’s parking garage, which connects directly to Bell Harbor and World Trade Center Seattle via the skybridge and can be accessed on both Elliott Avenue and Wall Street. What time do doors open? Doors open at 5:00 pm. Prior to the start of the live auction, enjoy the three silent auctions, wine grab, a photo booth, delicious appetizers and drinks.Will I receive tickets? No, all you need to do is show up and check in at the registration table. No physical tickets will be mailed out. I registered before my friend decided to go.
Can we be placed at the same table?We will do our best to sit you all together. What do I wear to Raining Cats & Dogs? Cocktail attire is appropriate for this event. Can I purchase tickets at the door? Unfortunately, we do not sell tickets at the door. I purchased tickets and now I cannot attend. Can I get a refund? Sorry to hear we won’t be seeing you at the auction! If you make your request by September 11, 2015, we can refund your ticket purchase, minus a 10% processing fee. We aren’t able to refund tickets after September 11, 2015. What type of items will you have at the auction? For highlights of our live auction, click on the Live Auction tab above.
