Does the job and looks good. We used the Moen Securemount (sold separately) to secure to wallboard. love it, very sturdy prompt delivery and met expectations I love to fact that this is a strong bar that doesn't look like a grab bar. The bathroom is safe but doesn't look like part of a hospital. This was the first one I bought for a guest bathroom. My parents and in-laws are older and I wanted something in the bathroom that they could use for stability rather than pulling... did not use this the way it shows, needed something to fit straight up and down, for a grab bar, and this works great.
