Gently raised teak table and padded chairs bring a slimness and elegance to the usually heavy task of outdoor dining furniture. I loved the Moroccan headboard and it was on sale, so I ordered it and the Simple Bed Frame together. I ordered it late July, hoping that I'll only have to spend a few nights sleeping on a mattress on a floor in my new apartment (I moved in August 9th). The bed was set to be delivered Aug 8 - Aug 22, and I was counting on it arriving closer to the end of the time frame, but naturally hoping for earlier. Well, today is September 10 and I am... I want to purchase 2 Stella brass twin beds but I don't want to pay $280 for shipping and for someone to spend 3 minutes putting some screws in to build them. Thats $150 to build them! I want the option of building them myself and saving $150. It's terrible customer service that this option is not available. I rang and spoke to someone but they say they can't waive this service.

It's not a service if it's forced upon you! West Elm Delivery Service I ordered a desk for back to school. Delivery was between August 1 and August 10. Delivery has moved two times. Yesterday when I looked on line I could see that it was sitting in their local warehouse, yet I had not received a call to have it delivered. I called three times, spending at total of 2 1/2 hours trying to talk to someone about getting it delivered. They were unwilling to help me get it delivered or get it delivered sooner. West Elm Shipping Service I ordered two chairs from West Elm on June 23, 2016 and had a delivery scheduled for July 26, 2016. The chairs never came to my home. I called repeatedly for over three weeks and no one would help me or tell me when I would receive the chairs. On August 17, 2016 I tried to obtain a refund for the chairs and I was told that I would receive a refund in 5-7 days. It is now August 31, 2016 and I still have yet to receive my money back. I tried to buy a piece of furniture for my son and have it delivered to his new apartment in New York City.

After repeated attempts to try and deliver it to me, I finally canceled the original order and made a new one. These people have no idea what they're doing. More than six weeks after buying furniture for my son, NOTHING has been delivered. Every time I call customer service they make fun of me, keep me waiting or transfer me to someone even more incompetent that the one I was speaking to. No one knows when the items will be delivered, no one knows if they are at the warehouse, *** or wherever. This company has no respect for people! We went to the store and the manager was very nice and assured us... I went online for a "One Day Premier Sale" A table retailed for $799 and was on sale for $399.00. However you are required to buy "white glove service" at $100 then changed an additional $40.00 for shipping and handling. Basically you are charged for shipping twice. You cannot remove the white glove service. I just wanted the item dropped off at my apartment with my doorman, I don't need anyone unpacking the item, however, you cannot...

Item on my registry was marked as purchased but never arrived. After waiting on hold for 30 minutes (and being disconnected onece) I was informed that the item was out of stock. They never notified me and also failed to notify the person who purchased the 200.00 item!! Rudest customer service and apathetic attitudes. Purchased a dining table a few months ago and when picking up they said that it was sold and they will have to reorder and will take a few weeks, after a month I called and they said that it will still take a few more weeks and if I wanted to pick another table??? That is what I call poor customer service, I will never buy from West Elm again!! and at the end the customer service representative was rude because I did not... After waiting 3 MONTHS for my custom fabric Peggy sofa (and receiving no call for delivery, but instead reaching out to the co. to find out when it would be ready- only to be told that it had been sitting at the warehouse- but whatever) it arrived w/ one back cushion deformed and appearing to not be completely filled- and many loose buttons (one of which popped off after 3 days).
