I wasn't aware when I ordered it that to attach it to the wall, there are two hard plastic end pieces (sturdy!) which are to be removed once you measure where the rack is going to go. There are screws and anchors supplied, so drill a hole, insert the anchor the partially attach one screw. Fit the rack to the screw then verify the measure for the second screw. Attach that, then tighten both the screws. They will hold the plastic pieces firmly in place, then the rack attaches to them. So you see the rack and not the attaching screws (as with my original one). The magnets are strong which is good because I've got a couple large knives. And the best part is that the new rack is going to make working in the kitchen and keeping the knives where I want them so much easier.
