It's attached on both sides so it doesn't slide around and cause the laces to loosen up during a match. Next, there's no plastic to dig in to my ankles like some competitors now have. In fact, they're quite soft all around, but my feet don't get hot. My ankles are stable on account of the wider base at the heel. The kind adidas support person told me these run long. I'm between a 7.5 and an 8, and the 8s fit perfectly. Did I mention how awesome they look? I mean, who doesn't want chrome on their heels?! Also, I drag my toe, but so far there's no indication of that whatsoever. Classic Adidas jacket... love the retroness I have to say, the Beckenbauer jacket is better than the Superstar jacket. The collar is great, but its more about the fit. Exactly what footballers used to wear pre-match in the 70's/80's. Wish it came in more colours.

I'm 5'11 with about a 36/ 37 inch chest and could wear both a small or the xs sizes. In the end I went for xs as I wanted something really fitted, opened it hangs really well also. Played with this ball in my premier league games throughout the whole season, didn't let us down.
