Age 18-24 25-34 35-44 45-54 55-64 65 and older Gender Male Female Verified purchaser The curtains were easy to iron with no worries of melting the material. Perfect for the single rod 6-panel mix I put together! Also fit well to other "circular" patterns in the living room. Note, they are not room-darkening curtains, but are not see-through either. I like them soooo much that I bought two sets to make sure I will never be without these curtains :) Yes (6) No (0)  Report Yes (6) No (0) Verified purchaser Love them. I first purchased the set for a double set of sliding doors at my shore house. The verticals kept breaking with everyone going in and out. I saw these and thought they would like good for the sliders. They don't look good they look FABULOUS. I have gotten so many compliments from my neighbors. They are so easy to hang, perfect fit, easy to wash, hang damp and not a wrinkle in them. They are bright and lightweight. We love the fabric. I loved them so much I bought them for my living room and dining room at home. They must be a popular set because they were out of them at the nearest Walmart so I ordered online What a great experience. Yes (3) No (0)  Report Yes (3) No (0) I purchased the Blue Medallion panels, the colors are nice not too overwhelming in a room I have lots of wood and it brightens my family room. The background of the curtain is a beige/khaki color so very neutral with a green, blue, turquois, yellow, white and a chartreuse color medallion pattern yes all of those colors.
Some of the pattern is on a smaller scale but it's a nice balance to add color to a space especially for me since I have a neutral sofa I brought the colors together with throw pillows. I love the Nickel grommet, it is not brushed or antique so it has a little bit of a shine but looks good. Used Soft Tub Hot TubThe 84 in. length of all the panels were good with all 8 panels I purchased. Free Moving Company FlyersThey are not lined/blackout but you can't see through them, the panels are not flimsy they hang nicely. Wedding Lounge Furniture Rental ChicagoMy only complaint would be I have a large picture window and the curtain panels are very short in width I needed four to cover this window compared to my old panels I only needed two they would pull all the way across and meet in the middle.
These didn't do that until I purchased two more panels. My side windows 34 in. each were fine with two panels. Good thing there are two panels per package, what a great deal! They're really so much prettier in person. There's a turquoise, a deep cornflower blue, an apple green and a white medallion print all over a beige background. I've got two long windows in my living room and I bought two packages of 84" length. They barely graze the floor which is very much the style right now. Prices of curtains are insane! These were an awesome value! They're heavy enough to but look light and airy. I would buy these again for my bedroom in they came in an orchid, gray, teal color (hint, hint mainstays)! We purchased them to hang in our living room. They are heavy enough to block others from looking inside, but light enough to let in tons of sunshine without having to open them. They're very easy to iron, and if you use a tieback, they work perfectly when you want to open them up To let the breeze in when your windows are open. The color and pattern was exactly as pictured. Typically, they hang on a rod secured across the top of the window and hang straight down. But there are different variations that range from casual to formal. Here's what you need to know about using drapes as window treatments. The current fashion in drapes is two matching tall columns of fabric that flank a window like sentries guarding a palace entrance.
When you buy them in stores or online, there are two standard lengths: 84 inches and 95 or 96 inches. The length of the curtain dictates the height of the rod. If you buy 84-inch-long curtains, the rod must be mounted roughly 84 inches from the floor if the curtains hang from the rod without rings. This lets the hem of the curtains brush the floor. How formal or casual they feel depends on the fabric (cotton versus velvet, for example) as well as the hanging mechanism. Oil-rubbed rings on a matching rod have an old-world look, whereas large nickel grommets sliding on a thick rod appear casual. Another style for drapes is extra-long panels with inches of fabric "puddling" on the floor, creating a ball-gown effect. This can be an elegant look for fabrics with the right weight and weave, such as synthetics and silks. Stiff fabrics, such as cotton and linen, or any kind of lined panels, won't flow gracefully onto the floor. If you the puddling effect, buy these drapes from a store or online at the 96-inch length but mount the rod between 84 and 90 inches high to give you extra fabric to play with at the floor level.
The most popular type of drape is the gathered style, which is most commonly available as ready-made drapes. A panel is flat until you clip it to rings or thread it onto a curtain rod. When the panel pulls to the side of the window, the fabric gathers into gentle waves. Another style is the pinch-pleated drape, which is common for custom-made draperies fashioned by drapery workrooms. At the top of the panel, the fabric is pinched into tight pleats at even intervals, which causes the fabric below the pleats to billow out slightly. This is a more formal look and is often used in hotels, banquet halls, and restaurants. Drapes don't have to be long. Some are hemmed to reach a specific point on the window—typically the window sash or just below the bottom of the molding around the window. These window treatments tend to be more casual than long drapes and are often sewn from lightweight fabrics, such as cotton and muslin. If you buy them in a store on online, the typical length for short drapes is 63 inches.
