Kelly Merrick – Vice President (2016-2018).  Kelly lives in Richland, WA and is in charge of our East-of-the-Cascades activities.  She is new to the world of Pointing Labradors but an enthusiastic volunteer and learner and we welcome her to the Board. Lily Lo – Secretary/Treasurer (2014-2018). Lily lives in Centralia, WA and currently serves on the APLA’s Hunt Test Committee and is our Hunt Test Chair. Together with Julie Moore and Marlana Smith, she founded the Club in 2014. Wayne Hardy – Board member (2015-2017).  Wayne lives in Lacey, WA and is very active in the retriever world, running in AKC and HRC tests throughout the year. Pat Persing – Board member (2016-2018).  Pat lives in Springfield, OR and is our longest tenured member of the APLA.  He brings a wealth of knowledge to our Board. Marlana Smith – Board member (2014-2018).  Marlana lives in Gabriola, BC, Canada and has been a long time member of the APLA and served on the APLA Hall of Fame committee.

Early on, we were fortunate enough to meet Sonny and Shirley Chambers of Muskelunge Labradors from whom we purchased our first show stock. Our first champion was Muskelunge bred. It was through Sonny and Shirley that we met Carol Heidl of Tabatha Labradors. It is through these friendships that we owe much of our success in Labradors. Our goal in Labradors is to continue to build on this foundation; to breed a sound body and mind that is as happy in the show ring as it is flushing a pheasant on a chilly November morning.
