I was unable to rent a simple pick-up truck for at least two weeks. When I was actually called and told a truck was available I showed up at the center and had a van reserved for me, not a pick-up. The new van I accepted had a "low tire sensor" problem. The van (also Ford's problem here) was a "Transit 250" I believe. I'm a "Ford Guy", I like Ford's. This was the most uncomfortable vehicle I have every had the displeasure of driving. To drive it for more than the short hour I had behind the wheel would have been debilitating. I'm not sure if there are still any options available in truck/trailer rental. Next rental I will research that possibility. Great experience though we had booked the van at another venue and then had to call to find the van was actually in Carson City not Sparks. But after that, totally perfect. I had a great experience. But your printer was no working correctly. If someone didn't have email they had no way to get their contracts and receipts. NEVER USING U-HAUL AGAIN...

I reserved a 9 foot cargo van for burning man months in advance, had to call repetitively for my confirmed pick up location, and after finally getting a confirmed pick up location, U-Haul changed it without even notifying me (no email, phone call, or text). Although I had a reserved a van at this location, upon taking an uber from Reno airport I called to let them know I was on my way to find that they rented out the van and the next closest location was in Carson city...30 minutes south of Reno and $60 in uber fares ($120 in total because I could only drop off at the same location). No help whatsoever, worst customer service I have every experienced...I will never recommend U-Haul to anyone after how they treated me. The employee Alexander was extremely rude, he got into my face and yelled at me. He said "I was affecting another family" when they affected my family by canceling my reservation so, I was then only allowed to have the truck for 24 hours instead of 48 like originally in my reservation before they canceled it after I called and let them know I would be picking it up late.

This place is horrible, the employees are horrible, I will never rent from them again. I even spoke with the assistant manager Steven who did nothing for me and put all the blame of my canceled reservation onto me. I do not recommend this place at all 20 mins listening to your add Twice before a live personOnly one person on the lot with too much to do. Was courteous and efficient Very helpful in a time of need Ross is a great guy, not to happy about my reservation for a 26 foot truck being bumped by Burning Man customers, people still hve to move during Burning Man, I will recommend Ross on Williams but U-Haul was very dissapointing as far as not aknowledging my reservation. Was told they had no one way rental trailers, so my wife called the toll free number and was told yes they had a ton of one way trailers. Other then the drop off location that I found which was excellent, the rest was horrible it cost me more in gas to travel for light hook ups and useless drop of uhaul sent me then actual rental oh just so you know I was texted drop off 1600 Carson St Carson city nv they haven't done u haul in 2 years The service was quick and professional. 1.09 per mile is way to much. I would not recommend rental from u haul. It cost me over 120 dollars to rent the truck for 6 hours. Although the people there were friendly and helpful and prompt, the equipment your system told them to give me tore my car apart. I don't know if I will ever use U-Haul again. Worst customer service of my entire life. I will never, EVER use uhaul again. The people were very helpful and friendly. The truck looked like it had just come cross country. I had to soak the windshield in windex for 2 minutes before scrubbing it clean. Even then the bugs were hard to see through depending on the light.
