My husband pulled over amongst my jabber of ottomans and quilted red fabric to let me check them out. A few minutes of negotiating later, and I was the proud owner of two 100-pound steel John Deere tractor tire rims. "I started by power washing and steel brushing the crusty, rusty, and slightly bent rims before I began priming and painting.

Each of the rims was primed and then painted using white and red Valspar spray paint. It took some time, but the result was awesome!" "While the paint was drying, I began to create the remaining elements. Using a hardwood plywood, I cut out a circle base that would serve as the upholstered top of the ottoman.
